Goose Attacks Man in Park

A man in a park was attacked and injured by a goose this week. The victim, who asked to remain anonymous, said he was walking through the park when he was approached by the goose. "It came out of nowhere," he said. "I didn't even know there were geese in this park."

The goose began pecking him on the head and arms, causing several large bruises. He was able to fend off the bird and escape unharmed, but said the experience was terrifying. "I've never been so scared in my life," he said.

While such attacks are rare, they're not unheard of. Geese can be territorial and aggressive, particularly during mating season. Park officials advise people to avoid contact with geese if possible and to use caution if approached by one.

Goose Found Dead on Highway

Yesterday, drivers on highway 107 were greeted with a gruesome discovery - a dead goose laying in the middle of the road.

It's unclear exactly how the bird died, but officials say that it's possible that it was hit by a car.

"This is just another example of why we need to be careful while driving," said one spokesperson for the highway department. "People need to be more aware of their surroundings and make sure to check for animals before getting on the road."

The Department has urged drivers to use caution when travelling on highway 107, especially during morning and evening rush hours when wildlife is most active.

Goose Causes Power Outage in Neighborhood

Residents of a suburban neighborhood in Seattle experienced a power outage Saturday afternoon after a goose collided with a power line, according to Seattle City Light spokesperson Scott Thomsen.

The outage occurred around 1:30 p.m. when the goose hit a power line near North 85th Street and 6th Avenue Northeast, causing two transformers to blow. More than 2,000 customers were affected by the outage.

Crews arrived on the scene shortly after and restored power to most residents within two hours, though some were without power until later that night.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Goose Steals Golf Ball on Course

While playing a round of golf at the local country club, one golfer had an unusual experience when their ball was mysteriously stolen by a wild goose. As the golfer took their shot on the green, they noticed that their ball was nowhere to be found. Upon further inspection, it appeared that a large goose had apparently stolen the ball and taken off with it across the fairway.

The incident caused much amusement for other golfers who were also participating in the game, as well as bystanders who were watching from the sidelines. Interestingly, this is not the first time that this has happened; geese have been known to steal golf balls from time to time as they wander across golf courses. In fact, some golfers have even begun to intentionally aim for geese in order to retrieve their lost balls!

While it may seem like a silly occurrence, it can actually be quite frustrating for golfers when their ball is stolen by a goose. Not only does it cost them time and money to replace the ball, but it can also interfere with their game play. It is therefore important to be aware of these birds when you are out on the golf course and take steps to protect your belongings.

If you are unfortunate enough to have your golf ball stolen by a goose, there are a few things that you can do:

• Try to find where the goose flew off to and attempt to retrieve your ball from there.

• If you can't find your ball, try borrowing another one from another player or using a practice ball until you can get a new one.

• If all else fails, just laugh it off and chalk it up as an unusual experience!

Goose Runs Amok at Children's Playground

Just as the sun set and the children finished playing on the swings and slide, a large goose came running through the playground. Parents quickly scooped up their children, as the goose ran amok, squawking and honking.

Some parents tried to shoo the goose away, but it was too late. The goose had created a scene and was having a blast. Finally, a man with a large hunting rifle appeared and shot the goose dead.

The children were screaming and crying, while the parents were trying to console them. It was a chaotic scene at the playground, all because of one wayward goose.
